This photo was taken on Sicily Drop Zone, Fort Bragg, NC during All American Week 1998. The Division had just completed their mass drop exercise complete with Wart Hogs paving the way...
My Grandfather, Leo Gomez shown second from the right is the reason I joined the Airborne. He was a paratrooper in the 82nd from 1953-56 w/ the 307th Engineers.
Thibodeaux was a member of the 511th, Major General Kellog was Division Commander at the time and Tolentino was another Fister w/ the 18th ABN Corp Arty.
