Currently, WWII former POWs are being denied the Purple Heart for receiving wounds during captivity.
Since former Army Air Corps personnel came under the jurisdiction of the USAF in 1957 they are being approved the Purple Heart for identical wounds received.
Contacted U.S. Senator for support, but no action taken to date.
Local U.S. Congressman was contacted, but offered no support.
Where is the support for our WWII veterans?

Robertsabel........ I wish I could tell you something different other than WE keep them in the place of service they so Heartidly and UNselishly earned.
YOU, contact your congress(worthless, i know)man and senator, call them or go to their office and tell them what you want wether it be for your own relative or even a friend.
ITS GOT TO COME FROM THEIR OFFSPRING!!!

I wrote the Dept of The Navy and got the material on my own dad from 1939-1944.
Dad never held a converasation with anyone which lasted over 4 words, and when I got his records of medals I then, knew why.
He was taken care of in his later days in life, however.
Then He died in peace at 88 yr/old. Left behind over 20 grandkids and 3 of us living sons and 1 daughter.
Dad, I miss & Love you.
