Anyone know of Bobby Joe Gunter from South Carolina who was a "Peace Keeping Officer" in Germany? He died in 1963 or 1964, was killed on his way home. Slipped on ice trying to catch a R/R Cart (not sure what you called them) he slipped it drug him about 200 feet. I am trying to find out more about him for a family history record. My grandfather talk about him alot, but at my young age I failed to listen as I should have!!
