Homeless Veterans

In our great Country there's one thing that really bugs the hell out of me and thats the number of Homeless Vets on the streets all across our Country its a sad thing to see and its my hope something can be done about this. Most of these guys are Hero's who for whatever reason fell thru he cracks and few people seem to really care. thanks for letting me post this.
Homeless Vets
RFlemming: I retired from the Army in 1978 at Ft Dix, NJ after I was air evaced there from Nam in 1969. I was amazed at the number of homeless vets that were living in the pine barrens there. Every Stand Down they came in for medical care, updating pay, records etc. I spoke to a few of them & I heard the same reply many times. Vietnam vets: We got screwed by the military after Nam & are comfortable living where we are, taking care of each other, & not trusting anyone but ourselves.
