Locating Veteran family members

My Mother is a retired Staff Sergeant she used to train the USMC Reserves and when they were sent to war not one of them were KIA and they all made it home safe. MY Father is a retired USMC captain who served in vietnam and came home with a purple heart due to the shrapnel in his legs. My uncle was in the US Army he was in the 82nd airborne in desert storm he passed away 2 yeas ago and we buried him in the Arlington National Cemetery. Upon his burial we found out that he walked out of that desert with his whole platoon unharmed and a bronze star pined on his chest. Unfortunately for me I am unable to join do to medical reason but that does not mean i don't support our troops and the United States Marine Corps. I will always love the corps because that the way i was raised and damn proud of it...

The reason i Hive some family history is maybe someone can help me locate who else in my family is linked to the military or they can refer me to a site. My mother knows one her side theres a military background but no one kept records or in contact. The same goes for my father and it would mean a a lot to me if anybody could help so that i may inform my parents.
