Your photo brings back memories. I used to drink the Hmong Rice wine in their villages. The Hmong are cousins of the Montagnards. That stuff was smooth and had a real kick...

The rice wine certainly did have a kick to it, but what remember most was getting dysentery (sic?) from it. Over a week of agony. Far worse than any hang over.
