Hello, my name is Heather. I have recently been interested in joining the VFW, but I am having issues with it. Both my grandfathers were in the service. My Grandfather on my fathers side served in World War II. He was a member of the vfw as was my father, but my father got in due to my grandfather. My Grandfather's name is John Dick, he's from Hornell NY 14843. My Uncle Carl Kunold also served in the Korean War, and my other Grandfather Rexford White served also, but I am not sure of what branch they were in, and I have no clue what war if any my grandfather Rex was in. When I tried to get into the VFW they said they couldn't find any of my grandfather's information. So my question is where can I find the information that I need so that I can give this to the VFW? If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
