impossible to put a cap on the number of those
wounded and injured in service to their country."
"Medicate Em' and Forget Em'!"
Thats my experiance with the VA.
The rest of my life these days is spent doing battle with the VA, AMC, BVA and Lo & Behold........my very own DAV representitve. Screw-ups are and have been always in favor of the VA!!!!!
Time Wasters and Delayers of Justice.
My best word of wisdom at this point is to tell you what Ive learned...........GET A LAWYER IF YOU HAVE LOST MEDICAL RECORDS AT THE HANDS OF THE DoD.
END.
VA Health Care
Semper Fi
I have lots of experience here and some of it is good. But the Primary care units especially in St. Clairsville, and in Cambridge both in Ohio are really bad. The one in St. Clairsville almost killed me in Dec. 2005 when they did not catch an impending heart attack despite two EKG's which were not normal. In fact the Doctor told me to my face that I did not have any heart problems. A month later after visiting the ER at the VA hospital in Pittsburgh I was admitted and had a stint put in. The Doctor's told me that I had a 95% blockage in the main artery to my heart. I suffered a sroke six months later which I had taken care of at Pittsburgh because I was afraid to return to St. Clairsville. I have no experience at other Primary Care units but the two that I have are disrespectful to veterans, make it difficult to see a Doctor, routinely mess up blood tests, and in general treat us badly.
