I was in Schweinfurt for my first duty station from 1979-1981 with the 2/30th Infantry Battalion on Ledward Barracks. I was 11B/11H, but worked as a clerk, S-2 driver, and with the TOW platoon. Two winters in Germany convinced me to change my MOS and get out of the field. :)
