Personal Info
Your current location, or if you'd have to kill us after you told us, just put "Other".
Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, Family, Friend, Other
Active, Veteran, Retired, Recruit, Family, Spouse, Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Son, Daughter, Friend, Other.
Infantry, Armor, Military Police, Medic, Pilot, etc. The key to finding other veterans via the "Career" field is for each term to be short, specific, and to separate different terms with commas. For example: Veteran #1, who puts "Infantry" as his Career, will match everyone who has "Infantry" in their Career; however, Veteran #2, who puts in "Infantry PSG in Korea" will only match that exact term. He will not match "Infantry" "PSG" or "Korea". Meanwhile, Veteran #1 could find Veteran #2 because they both have the word "Infantry" in their Career. We also recommend you spell out terms like "Military Police", and do not use periods or abbreviations like "cbt. mdc.". If you put your career field identifier, it is better to only put the short version, like "95B" instead of "95B40HM". Put each item on a separate line or separate them by commas. No HTML allowed.
List the keywords that relate to your military experience, separated by a comma: Iraq, Vietnam, 25ID, 4ID, AWACS, CENTAF, 4MEB, MARSOC, USS Stark, USS Bataan, Fort Stewart, Camp Lejuene, MacDill AFB, Subic Bay, etc. The key to finding other veterans via the "Tags" field is for each term to be short, specific, and to separate different terms with commas. For example: Veteran #1, who puts "Vietnam" in his Tags, will match everyone who has "Vietnam" in their Tags; however, Veteran #2, who puts in "Infantry PSG in Vietnam" will only match that exact term. He will not match "Infantry" "PSG" or "Vietnam". Meanwhile, Veteran #1 could find Veteran #2 because they both have the word "Vietnam" in their Tags. We also recommend you spell out terms like "Fort" or "Camp", and do not use periods in terms like "USS Enterprise", or abbreviations like "fld. mdc.". Put each item on a separate line or separate them by commas. No HTML allowed.
