- About Me
I enlisted in the military in 1990 and served in the Reserves and the Missouri National Guard as a Supply Clerk, until 1997 when I decided to become a full time soldier. The Army got me enlist as a 63B because Supply was "over strengthed". I went to re-class school and off to Fort Sill I went. Boy was that not alot of fun, VERY long hours!!!! But for the most part I enjoyed being a grease monkey. I came down on orders for The Netherlands and quickly became the first American woman to serve in a NATO maintenance environment. After about 2 years in NATO I decided to drop a packet to be awarded my supply MOS, then I became the NCOIC of the NATO Expendable Store, which provided the whole compound with supplies. This was a good experience. Next duty station brought me to Fort Bragg, NC was orginally sent to COSCOM, that sucked!!! Then I was transfered to 18th Airborne Corps Artillery, I was working in the G-4 section. WAY better than COSCOM!! Took a medical discharge in 2005. I am currently attending school so I can venture off into another career.
